Ingredients

Active Ingredient: 0.05% Tretinoin

Tretinoin, a retinoid derived from Vitamin A in the form of retinoic acid, is highly regarded in skincare for its potent effectiveness in treating acne.

Each gram contains: 0.05% Tretinoin, stearic acid, isopropyl myristate, polyoxyl 40 stearate, stearyl alcohol, xanthan gum, sorbic acid, butylated hydroxytoluene, and purified water.

How to use

Thoroughly but gently cleanse your skin beforehand. Avoid using a sponge or washcloth to wash your face.

Gently pat your skin dry with a clean towel, or even better, a facial tissue.

Allow your skin to dry completely for 20 to 30 minutes before applying tretinoin, as applying it to damp skin may lead to irritation.

Using your fingertips, apply a pea-sized amount of tretinoin to your entire face or just the affected areas. Be sure to avoid contact with your eyes, lips, and the corners of your nose. Follow your skincare provider's guidance on frequency; it's recommended to start using the product two to three times a week, gradually increasing your usage until you're applying Tretinoin daily.

Since Tretinoin can increase your skin's sensitivity to UV light, always use a broad-spectrum sunscreen with an SPF of 30 or higher. Consistent sun protection is essential for maximizing the benefits of Tretinoin, and it also helps prevent premature skin aging.

While using Tretinoin, remember to:

• Limit your exposure to the sun and avoid extreme cold or windy conditions.
• Stay away from sunbeds and ultraviolet light.
• Apply sunscreen with at least SPF 30.

Precautions: Minimize exposure to sunlight, including sunlamps, while using Tretinoin Cream or Gel. Those with sunburn should avoid using the product until their skin has fully healed. Patients with jobs requiring significant sun exposure or those with a natural sensitivity to sunlight should be particularly cautious. It is recommended to use sunscreen and protective clothing over treated areas when sun exposure is unavoidable. Additionally, extreme weather conditions, such as wind or cold, may cause irritation for those using tretinoin. Avoid contact with the eyes, mouth, corners of the nose, and mucous membranes. Topical application may cause severe local redness and peeling. If irritation becomes severe, the frequency of application should be reduced, or use should be paused or discontinued entirely. Tretinoin may cause significant irritation on eczematous skin and should be used with extreme care in these patients.

Pregnancy: Tretinoin should be used during pregnancy only if the potential benefits outweigh the possible risks to the fetus.

Adverse Reactions: In some sensitive individuals, the skin may become excessively red, swollen, blistered, or crusted. If such reactions occur, treatment should be stopped or adjusted to a level that is tolerable for the patient.

How to store
